I took a close look at two coins.
1825 10C JR-3 R3 VF35 CAC - Cheyenne Coins - Per the PCGS price guide this is a $500 coin and Rick was asking $480
1827 10C JR-4 R2 XF40 CAC - Jason Flowers - Per the PCGS price guide this is a $700 coin and Jason was asking $575.
I made a deal on the 1825 as it was original with some crust in the letters and some attractive toning on the obverse. Also this would be my first example of an 1825. I have an 1827 JR-7. If I had more money on me, I probably would have purchased both coins.
Finally, I sold the 1903 Canadian Dime to Falcon Coins. Don confirmed it was the more valuable large H variety in VF condition. If it was original it would be worth retail 40 CAD ($30 USD). The cleaning drops the price 30% in his opinion. With the retail price at $21, he offered me $12 and I accepted. We will see what my Mom thinks.
As a bonus, I happened upon a work colleague who was also attending the show.
