North County Monthly Coin Show

While in Ontario, I decided to stop by the North County Monthly Coin Show.  It featured about 30 dealers with folks specializing in bullion, US Coins and World Coins.  In talking with dealers, the foot traffic is always pretty good and they should see about 400-500 people come through.

I took a look at a few draped bust dimes that were well outside my price range.

I was actually shocked at how high silver prices were.  I could not believe rounds were selling for $80.  I was fortunate to come across Chris with 2 Girls Numismatics who had some Victoria Sovereigns for $5 over spot.  He had over 20 and I ended up picking up an 1891 that showed minimal wear and good surfaces without signs of harsh cleaning.
