The 1822 is coming to market in AG3 condition with a PCGS Retail of $1,750. I think I am willing to pay $1000 for this coin, but the opportunity cost bothers me. I think I would rather scoop a rarity of a more common year or even add a nice draped bust or flowing hair dime to my collection at that price point.
The 1809 is coming to market as well, but this one is damaged and decidedly less attractive.
